On Friday 23rd July 2004, Arianna and I (Peter - TheSpider) travelled from Lexington, KY to Toledo, OH, to see The Orchestra in concert. We both loved the concert greatly. Arianna managed to get some really fantastic photos, then again we were dead center stage! (YAY!!!!) We hope you love the pics also.

Just before 7pm - the "warm-up" band, Traffic Jam start organising themselves to play.	Their website is at: http://www.trafficjammusic.com
Most of their songs are covers, and range from heavy soul to rockabilly to funk.	Traffic Jam were on stage for 2 hours, from 7pm to 9pm.
During the break hour of 7pm to 8pm, we mingled with the 'real' fans at the stagefront, and met Jeff 'ELORulz" Brooks for the first time. We knew each other from the Showdown list run by Lynn Hoskins. Showdown List Info	As I watched the roadies setting up the stage for The Orchestra, we got some good shots of their equipment.
The Orchestra were meant to take the stage at 10pm, but were delayed by 11 minutes. The problem we believe was Mik's violin's radio mic. Here we see Lou & Hux working with the roadie to the left of the stage.	The band are still waiting off stage for the problem to be fixed. BTW - that is the same area I had a good chat with Gordon & also met Hux.
Mik is back to the left hand side of the off-stage working with the roadie & band-members to get the problem fixed.	The Orchestra are about to take the stage, and the roadie stands ready.
Looks like Hux is first ...	... followed by the rest. The crowd is going crazy!!!
Kelly is a true showman, and it shows in choice of trousers ('pants' for you yanks). It has been 8 years since I saw him and the rest of ELO P2, but it felt like no time had passed.	The amazing keyboard twins!
Hux absolutely amazed me. He is a fantastic singer & guitarist.	Unsure who the girls are. Aparantly Arianna was about to take a shot of Mik, when the girls moved and grabbed the camera's focus.
Hold on Serena - there are better shots of Eric still to come.	Great close-up of Mik. Arianna was amazed by his playing and also his dancing!
Gordon proved himself to be a great guy as we chatted, and also to be a most excellent drummer during the concert.	Sir Lou is a true professional.

I think this pic was taken during "Livin' Thing", where Kelly sung the lead.	And talking of true showmen - here is Mik!

I think Arianna at this point started to focus on the crowd rather than the band.	A case in point. LOL

Another good one of Hux.	Eric proved to be a brilliant guitarist as well as keyboardist/singer.

Very interesting shot of Kelly & Gordon.	Looks like Eric is back on keyboards & singing lead. Unsure which song this would be.
Asked Arianna why we have a close-up of the audience rather than Hux. She says that her focus was acting up ...	... and could not get focused on Hux at all.
The crowd was indeed a bunch of happy clappers.	Another very good close-up of Kelly & Hux.
Do you think that Kelly is jealous of Hux's hair???	Kelly doing his "Hare Krishna" impersonation! ;)
Mik & Kelly are definitely rockin'!!!	Kelly & Hux know how to entertain a crowd.
